The Geography of Sierra Leone
Sierra leone is located on the western coast of the African continent straying just a few degrees south of the Equator, it is divided into 3 main areas: northern, southern and eastern.
leone is a mountainous and coastal country, its terrains also include swamps, farming landscapes and heavily forested areas.
Farming is responsible for the exports of rice, cassava, and palm-oil, and mining is responsible for diamonds, titanium, iron, gold and other minerals, these are some of Leones greatest exports.
Leone has a handful of freshwater rivers; Rokel River, Taia River, Sewa River, and Moa River providing a source of water for its inhabitants.
